Osteoarthritis is also known as degenerative joint disease (DJD), arthrosis, or non-inflammatory arthritis. Essentially, it is a joint area that is undergoing degeneration at a much quicker pace than regeneration.

Findings such as bone spurs (osteophytes), decreased joint space, cysts, calcification and other bony degeneration signs often appear on the x-rays of an arthritic joint. Common symptoms include joint grinding (crepitus), excessive popping, and a feeling of uncomfort or pain may be experienced within the joint, especially when subjected to extra weight.

Dr. Tallman tailors a unique regenerative protocol for each case, designed to stimulate repair of the degenerated areas and to restore the joint's normal, fluid function.
