Neck, back and sacral pain can usually be alleviated with comprehensive treatment. Careful attention is given to address spinal curve restoration and paraspinal muscle rehabilitation.

Herniated discs may cause severe problems if not treated properly. Stabilization of the area is necessary to allow the body to recover completely.

Microscopic damage may occur to the ligaments that hold the neck and back bones together during accidents, repetitive trauma, strains, lifting a weight that was too heavy; slips & falls; sports, work & activity injuries.

When these ligaments weaken, an excessive strain on spinal discs occurs. This causes disc degeneration leading to a herniation or "slip". Disc herniations can pinch the spinal cord or spinal nerves and may cause a variety of symptoms including back & neck pain, sciatica, numbness, muscle weakness, tingling and radiating pains. The ligament damage can be reversed and stabilized by in-office techniques performed by Dr. Tallman.
